The LT 503U-3-C is a three-station hydraulic busbar processing machine rated to 16 mm thickness and 200 mm width — a work envelope that covers the large majority of low voltage busbars used in UK switchgear, motor control centres and distribution boards built to BS EN 61439. Punching, shearing and bending sit on one frame as separate units, so each station is set independently rather than a single tool being reset between operations. It is the practical step up from the 303 series when busbar sections exceed 12 × 160 mm, and machines ship crated in wood cases with an inner plastic sheet wrap for container freight into Felixstowe or Southampton.
Test conditions: Copper and aluminium busbar processed on the three-station frame (punching unit, shearing unit, bending unit) within a stated work envelope of 16 mm thickness by 200 mm width.
Measured values: 16 mm maximum busbar thickness; 200 mm maximum busbar width; three independently adjustable stations on one machine frame; supplied crated in a wood case with inner plastic sheet wrap.
Benchmark: The 303-series three-in-one machines in the same LT range are rated 12 mm × 160 mm, so the 503U-3-C adds roughly one third more section thickness and 25% more width without changing the single-operator workflow.
