The LT JCX-130 is a CNC busduct joint connection busbar machine for busbar trunking (BBT) systems. It processes the connection bar through punching, stretching, bulging and cutting automatically, and raw material is clamped once with automatic clamp switching, so waste is lower and the finished part rate higher than a manual sequence. The striking head works hydraulically and the busbar is held by hydraulic clamp. Hole distance accuracy is quoted at better than ±0.1 mm across a 5 × 130 mm machining range, which is what makes the joint bars in a UK busway run interchangeable rather than matched to their position.
Test conditions: Busduct joint connection busbar processed automatically through punching, stretching, bulging and cutting, with raw material clamped once and automatic repeat clamp switching.
Measured values: Nominal pressure 200 kN; X-axis maximum positioning speed 50 m/min; striking cylinder trip 30 mm; striking frequency 60 times/min; hole distance accuracy better than ±0.1 mm; machining range 5 × 130 mm; high precision ball screw and linear guide transmission.
Benchmark: Better than ±0.1 mm on hole distance against a manual layout-and-drill sequence: at that tolerance the joint bars in a run are interchangeable, which is what allows a busway joint to be replaced on site without matching it to a specific position.
